Launch Pad Attendants

In an effort to try to minimize some of the abuse the launch pads are taking at the hands of people who do not understand how to use them, in an effort to try to help speed things along by trying to eliminate (or quickly fix) common causes of misfires, and in an effort to promote improved crowd safety by limiting how the rockets are aimed, we are going to be instituting a new volunteer position called Pad Attendant for each group of six pads. This will be done on a trial basis. As long as we think we are benefiting from it we'll keep it. If it turns out to be more trouble than it is worth, then we'll dump it. For as long as we use it, this will open up three more opportunities per hour to earn flight cards and the coveted I-can-cut-in-line-because-I'm-a-volunteer-worker Gold Card.
