Two contest launches are being scheduled for the LUNAR 2001 launch year. The first, Pipsqueak-2, will be held the morning of the April night launch. The second, Morning After 43, will be held in September. The dates are not yet known because of field scheduling conflicts.

Planned events are:

1/4A Super-Roc Duration

Predicted Duration

Peanut Sport Scale

1/4A Flew Wing Duration

This contest will he held the same day as the April Night Launch. BayNAR will supply the launch equipment and setup will start at 8:30 AM. We will start launching at 9:00 AM and cease operations at 3:00 PM. All returns must be made by 4:00 PM.

If you are entering the Peanut Sport Scale event, you must submit your model by 10:00 AM. Static judging will take place from

10:00 AM to noon with flights taking place from noon to 3:00 PM.

Predicted Duration must be your first event flown.

Morning After 43

Planned events are:

Random Duration

B Helicopter Duration

C Rocket Glider Duration

This contest will coincide with the September launch. A set of pads will be set aside for contest use. The contest hours will be the same as the public launch hours. All returns must be made within one hour after the range closes.
