[LUNAR Announce:] Ames Launch Saturday 11/17

LUNAR!

 

The weather leading up to Saturday is looking a little wet. Assuming we get
clear skies on Saturday, the launch will happen.  

Be prepared for wind. The forecast is calling for 10 mph winds all day. We
will stop the launch if the winds get above 11 mph and/or the rockets start
landing too far away from the launch area.

 

This means you should plan to fly smaller motors and use smaller chutes to
keep your rockets close to the launch area. 

 

Be sure to check the LUNAR Hotline (925.443.8705) before coming to the
launch for any last minute changes.
