[LUNAR Announce:] September Club activities

LUNAR-
The first event this month is the Club meeting on Thursday September 18. The
meeting will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 PM in
the community room at the Greenmeadow Community Association. The address is:
303 Parkside Drive, Palo Alto, CA 94306.
Agenda:
*	Club business:
o	January Officer Elections: The LUNAR club is run by the members and
this is your chance to run for a board position and help shape the future of
the Club. All the Board positions are open for re-election. Position are:
President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Board Member at Large 1,
Board Member at Large 2. The Past President is not an elected position and
is held by the previous club president).  
*	Nomination are now open!
o	The Board is working on the 2015 Calendar and will be submitting the
permits with Ames and the FAA shortly.
*	Outreach events: 
o	Girl Scout Career Day November ??  at Ames. 
o	Ames 75th year anniversary Open House on Oct 18th.  LUNAR will have
a booth to display and talk about rocketry.
Guest speaker: Justin Belknap is a young rocketeer who I hope will enjoy
model rocketry his entire life.  Justin will be speaking on How the Nose
Cone Shape Effects the Altitude.  Justin did his Science Fair project on
this topic earlier this year and was flying his test flight at the LUNAR
launches. Come hear this his talk and congratulate him on a job well done.
Club launch on September 20th at Ames from 0930 to 1300.  This is going to
be a big launch with lots of outreach people again.  This is the last of the
outreach groups that got delayed when the May launch was cancelled when the
President visited in May.
