Jack Hagerty, LUNAR #0002
After the March launch at NASA Ames, LUNAR president Dave Raimondi showed off his NAR Level 4 project to impressed club members.
“After participating in the 99K project, 100,000 feet seemed too confining,” the ambitious club officer explained. “Still, the new Level 4 certification has some kinks to work out, like filing a 528,000 foot waiver with the FAA, and finding a launch field that’s 14,105 miles on a side.”
“Plus,” he demonstrated, “these ignitor plugs are murder to get seated correctly!”
