LUNAR!

Here is an excellent opportunity to help spread the word about model
rocketry in education.

Prospect High School's Robotics Team has volunteered to support Physics,
Science and Math Days at California's Great America on the afternoons of May
7,14 and 21. The event is a private operating day specifically for students
to use the amusement park as an experimental lab. Prospect High School will
be demonstrating their 2010 Breakaway Robot and their 2009 Lunar Robot
conversion to a T-Shirt Cannon. The Robotics Team is working to get other
FIRST Robotics Competition (www.usfirst.org) teams involved.

Rick Riccardi is the coach for the Prospect HS "Gear Heads" Team, has asked
if LUNAR would like to attend and talk about rocketry at their booth. Those
who volunteer would be talking with students and teachers about model
rocketry in educations, science fair projects involving model rocketry and
Team America Rocketry Challenge.

Please contact myself or Rick Riccardi at explring2 at sbcglobal.net if you are
interested in learning more about this opportunity. You will be rewarded for
your time.

David Raimondi
LUNAR President
