[LUNAR Announce:] Final call for volunteers, 9am meetup at: USS Hornet Splashdown celebration

If you are planning on coming and not on the list below please email me and Dave Ramondi ASAP to get on the list. If you have any Apollo era rockets, please bring them. We will meet at the volunteer area by the side of the ship at 8:45a to 9am, get our passes and go in. 

 

Here is the list of help so far for the event. It looks like they will have a food vendor if you do not bring some. We should all meet at the volunteer window to get badges and we go up to the hanger deck. If you are bringing big rockets to display there is a elevator. I am going to try to go up on it as the gang plank entry is tight but will also work. I am not sure where they will put our tables and chairs.

Since the event actually starts at 10:00 then I've decided now to get there about 9:00.   I also found out that there will be a food vendor there on the ship so you could grab a lunch there onboard.

Do you have any of those DVDs with all the rocket launches that I could use there?  If you do then please bring it to lunch Friday.

Hi Horng-ming it was good to talk to you at the last Ames launch Saturday. It will be great to have you and your son at the event. Bring rockets with you and we should pick a meeting time at the ship before it opens. 
 
Dave Ramondi and Dave Cummings, what time should be meet at the ship? Should I pick up the handouts for the event? I am going to bring 3 small rockets but was not planning on any big ones and do not have a apollo rocket either. I wish we could get Allan Marcum.
