LUNAR launches are held at Moffett Field (NASA Ames) on the third Saturday of the month year round and at Snow Ranch on the first Saturday of the month in the winter time when there is no fire danger. See the next launch link or the calendar link on the LUNAR home page to get the exact dates.

Our monthly launches are generally held on the third Saturday of the month at Moffett Field, unless preempted by other airport events. Day launche at Moffett field are generally held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Competition launches often result in expanded hours of operation. Also, occasional special launches are scheduled.
In the winter, on the first Saturday of the month we fly at Snow Ranch, 30 miles east of Stockton on highway 4. There we have a level 3 field with a 15,000 foot ceiling. We currently allow up to L motors on that field. Launches at Snow Ranch are held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
