Craig Colby's Rockets at LUNAR


Craig built this nifty Nike-Ajax from scratch. It stages nicely, typically from an F39 to a D12.

Perhaps the low-flying gawkers from Livermore Airport will take our NOTAM more seriously when they see this thing parked on the pads.


Here's Craig with his great scratch-built V-2. He typically flies this rocket on an AeroTech G-80.

Well, we can't very well claim that this took place at the LUNAR launch site... This is Craig's Standard ARM (another scratch-built rocket) flying on an H128 at Black Rock VIII in July, 1996. Earlier in the day, Craig had earned his level-1 certification flying this same rocket on an H55.
