LUNAR Demo at the 2000 East Bay Radio Controllers Aeromodeling Show

On Sunday, October 8, 2000 LUNAR demonstrated model rocketry at the East Bay Radio Controllers aeromodeling show. Joe Heckenbach coordinated the LUNAR portion of the event. According to Joe, "Bob and George of EBRC told me our act was the one that created the most talk and applause from the audience. We even had the other featured fliers watching us. In other words, we were a hit! Congratulations on a great show."

The Aeromodeling Show was featured in the "District X Report" (below) in the April 2001 edition of Model Aviation (p. 152) The official publication of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. I think it is significant that two of the five pictures included with the article feature LUNAR.

One way cool jet. This thing looked, smelled, and sounded like the real thing.
