Eric Kleinschmidt's NCR Phantom

Here's Eric's NCR Phantom 4000, leaving the pad for another in a long history of successful flights.

The Phantom launches on a Kosdon H70

At our January '96 launch, Eric flew this same rocket on a Kosdon H270. That flight, which one observer described as "a controlled explosion", was very difficult to photograph, so there's no in-flight still photo, but Chris Burgess captured it with his camcorder, so it's in the LUNAR Video Gallery. And below is a photo of the rocket after that flight, just to prove that Eric really did "bring it back alive". The motor shown is Eric's K250 casing (which can't, needless to say, be flown at our launch site!)

The Phantom survived its H270 flight
